Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

1. Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or as medium of Examination at degree level.
2. Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi/English with Hindi & English as compulsory/elective subjects or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory/elective subject at degree level.
3. Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi/English with Hindi/English medium and English/Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level.
4. Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory elective subject, plus a recognized Diploma/Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central/State Government Offices, including Government of India undertakings.

Age Limit

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 Years
• OBC (NCL): 3 Years
• PwBD (Unreserved): 10 Years
• PwBD (OBC - NCL): 13 Years
• PwBD (SC/ST): 15 Years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India rules (service period deduction + maximum 3 years)
• Departmental Candidates: Up to 35 Years

Reservation Details

Total Vacancy: 01 Post (Unreserved – UR)

Selection Process

The selection process may include Written Test and/or Skill Test/Interview. Shortlisting may be based on higher/relevant qualification and experience in case of large number of applications. Selected candidates will be appointed on probation as per rules. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the examination or interview.
