Eligibility Criteria
- Assistant Rajbhasha Officer: Master’s in Hindi/English with elective subject + 3 years’ relevant experience in Government/PSU in translation/terminology work.
- Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/E&C): Full-time 3-year Diploma in relevant branch with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). B.Tech/B.E. without Diploma not allowed.
- Supervisor (IT): DOEACC ‘A’ level OR 3-year Diploma in CS/IT OR BCA/BSc (CS/IT) with 60% marks.
- Sr. Accountant: Inter CA or Inter CMA.
- Hindi Translator: Master’s in Hindi/English with elective subject + 1 year relevant experience OR Degree/Diploma in translation.
- Final year students are not eligible.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 30 years (as on closing date).
- Relaxation: SC/ST: +5 years, OBC (NCL): +3 years, PwBD (Gen): +10 years, PwBD (OBC): +13 years, PwBD (SC/ST): +15 years, J&K domicile 1980–1989: +5 years, Ex-Servicemen as per rules.
Reservation Details
Reservation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS and PwBD candidates as per Government of India norms. Backlog vacancies are included. OBC Creamy Layer candidates are not eligible for reservation benefits.

- Ensure eligibility before filling the form.
- Fill the form with relevant details and submit. Save the Application ID.
- Upload scanned documents (DOB, mark sheets, caste/disability certificate, photograph, signature).
- Pay the fee online (if applicable).
- Take printout of the application form with unique ID for reference.
Selection Process
Candidates will appear for a Computer-Based Test (CBT) / Written Test followed by Document Verification and Medical Fitness Test.
- JE/Supervisor/Accountant: 140 Technical + 30 General Awareness + 30 Reasoning.
- Assistant Rajbhasha Officer/Hindi Translator: 40 MCQs + 10 Descriptive Questions + 30 General Awareness + 30 Reasoning.
- Negative Marking: –0.25 for each wrong answer.
- Qualifying Marks: Gen/OBC/EWS – 40%, SC/ST/PwBD – 35%.

Other Important Information
Selected candidates will be placed on probation for 1 year. Posting may be anywhere in India or abroad at NHPC projects, offices, or Joint Ventures. The compensation package includes Basic Pay, DA, HRA, Cafeteria Allowance, PRP, Medical Facility, PF, Pension, Gratuity, and Social Security Benefits.
