Employment Type and Tenure
The engagement will be on a contract basis. The initial appointment will be for one year, extendable up to a maximum of three years depending on performance and project requirements.
Salary and Remuneration
- Monthly Salary: ₹40,000/- (Consolidated)
- Annual Increment: If the contract continues for more than one year, the remuneration may be reviewed after completion of the first year. The total enhancement of remuneration shall not exceed 5% annually. Enhancement will be based on performance and subject to concurrence of the IFD of Department of Food & Public Distribution.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Chemistry, preferably specialized in Organic Chemistry, from a recognized university/institute.
- Experience: Minimum five years of research experience in Organic Chemistry.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
Allowances and Benefits
- No TA/DA is admissible for joining or on completion of the assignment.
- No other facilities such as DA, accommodation, residential phone, conveyance/transport, foreign travel, personal staff, medical reimbursement, CGHS etc. will be admissible.
- Leave entitlement: 8 days of casual leave for a completed period of 1 year on pro-rata basis. Un-availed leave shall neither be carried forward nor encashed.
- Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) will be applicable as per government rules. A TDS certificate shall be issued by the concerned DDO on demand.
Termination of Engagement
The services of the Young Professional can be terminated by giving one month’s notice by either side. However, the department reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time without prior notice and without providing any reason.
