Employment Type and Duration
Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended). The period of training is 12 months commencing from the execution of the contract of Apprenticeship.

- Closing Date for Online Application: 11 September 2025 (23:59 hrs)
Application Process
- Apply online through UMANG Portal only.
- Enroll in NATS Portal and provide Apprenticeship Registration Number.
- Upload the following documents in JPG/JPEG/PNG format:
- Degree/Diploma Mark sheets (all semesters/years) – one file, maximum size 1 MB
- Degree/Diploma Certificate / Provisional / Passing Certificate – maximum size 1 MB
- Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC) – maximum size 50 KB
- Disability Certificate (PwBD, if applicable)
- Scanned Photo (≤ 50 KB)
- Scanned Signature (≤ 50 KB)
- All correspondence will be via the candidate’s valid email ID. Applications can only be submitted once with a single email ID.
- On successful registration, an Online Registration Number will be generated. Preserve this for future reference and submit a printout at the time of joining, if selected. No need to send by post.
Eligibility Criteria
- Degree/Diploma with minimum 60% marks or 6.32 CGPA from recognized University/Board.
- Candidates who passed Degree/Diploma during or after July 2023 are eligible.
- Only Indian nationals can apply.
- Candidates who already underwent or are undergoing Apprenticeship or have one year or more experience are not eligible.
- Candidates must have completed qualification as a regular student. Sandwich courses, private degrees, certificate/short-term courses, or candidates pursuing higher studies are not eligible.
- Courses must be recognized by Indian Universities / State Boards.
Age Limit
No specific maximum/minimum age limit mentioned. Eligibility is restricted to candidates who have passed Degree/Diploma during or after July 2023 (within 3 years).
Reservation Details
- Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per Government of India rules.
- SC/ST/OBC candidates must upload valid caste certificates (OBC candidates must submit Non-Creamy Layer certificate).
- PwBD candidates must upload disability certificate issued by competent authority.
Application Fees
No application fee is prescribed.
Selection Process
The consolidated applications will be screened and selection panels will be drawn based on academic marks at Degree/Diploma level. Apprentices will be inducted strictly as per their position in the panel. Only selected candidates will receive offer letters via email. No TA/DA will be provided for document verification.
Other Important Information
- Selected candidates must execute a contract of Apprenticeship training as per Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment Act, 1973.
- The period of training is 12 months.
- Selected candidates must produce a Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining.
- Apprentices will have no claim for employment in ISRO/NRSC or Department of Space after completion of training.
- Candidates are responsible for ensuring eligibility before applying. Any discrepancy will lead to disqualification.
- Original documents must be produced for verification at the time of joining. Any mismatch will result in cancellation of candidature.
- Candidates shortlisted for document verification are not eligible for Travelling Allowance.
- No interim correspondence will be entertained. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
