1. Applicants must fill the prescribed Application Form (Annexure-A) and attach all required annexures (Annexure B–E).
2. Submit hard copy in a sealed envelope superscribed “For Empanelment as Senior Advocate/Advocate/Advocate on Record” addressed to:
   Managing Director, NHDC Ltd.,
   A-2 to A-5, Sector-2, Udyog Marg, Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar – 201306, Uttar Pradesh.
3. Also send a scanned PDF copy of the complete application and annexures via email to: career@nhdc.org.in
4. Applications must be duly signed, stamped, and free from overwriting or unauthenticated corrections. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: LL.B. from a University recognized by the Bar Council of India.
• Experience: Adequate demonstrable experience in litigation and advisory in Commercial, Civil, Service, Company, Banking, Contractual, Arbitration, Labour, Constitutional, Taxation, and Intellectual Property matters.
• Senior Advocates: Must be Designated Senior Advocates with proven court experience.
• Advocates: Minimum 10 years of experience after enrolment with the Bar Council.
• Advocates on Record (AOR): Those registered as AOR with the Supreme Court may apply for AOR work.

Evaluation Criteria

Applicants will be evaluated on a 100-mark scale based on:

• Clients represented from Government/PSUs
• Years of service as Senior Advocate/Advocate
• Judgments/Orders handled in High Court or Supreme Court
• Arbitral Awards obtained for clients

Selection Process

• Applications will be evaluated by a committee based on the prescribed criteria.
• Only candidates scoring minimum marks will be empanelled.
• Empanelment will be valid for 3 years, extendable further at NHDC’s discretion.
• Performance will be reviewed annually; non-performing members may be de-panelled.
• NHDC reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning reason.

Work Responsibilities

• Handle and defend NHDC’s legal matters before Supreme Court, High Courts, Tribunals, and other judicial bodies.
• Provide oral and written legal opinions and advisory services.
• Vet and draft contracts and other legal documents.
• Represent NHDC in meetings with Attorney General, Solicitor General, and other senior law officers.
• Maintain confidentiality and submit case updates regularly.

Tenure

Three (03) years from the date of panel notification. May be extended at NHDC’s discretion with yearly performance review.
