3. Pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₹1,500/- (for UR, OBC, and EWS applicants). No fee required for SC, ST, PwD, and Women candidates. The fee must be remitted online only.

Eligibility Criteria

• Ph.D. in the relevant or equivalent discipline.
• First class in preceding degrees (UG in Engineering/Science/Management and PG in Engineering/Science/Management).
• Experience: Ten years after Ph.D. or thirteen years total, out of which seven years should be after Ph.D.
• At least three years at the level of Associate Professor with AGP ₹9500 OR four years at the level of Associate Professor with AGP ₹9000 or equivalent.
• Additional desirable for Training & Placement: Proven industry linkages, placement record, career counseling, consultancy, CSR mobilization.
• Additional desirable for III Cell: Sponsored R&D projects, consultancy assignments, patents, MoUs, incubation and entrepreneurship promotion.

Age Limit

• Probation period: 1 year.
• Superannuation: Till the end of the month in which the candidate attains the prescribed retirement age for teaching posts (as per NIT Statutes).

Reservation Details

Reservation in direct recruitment will be as per the provisions of the Central Educational Institutes (Reservation in Teachers’ Cadre) Act, 2019 and Government of India norms. Applicable for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, and PwD candidates.

Selection Process
