Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications
- A degree from a recognized University.
- Minimum 15 years experience in executive cadre in the field of General Administration, Personnel, Industrial Relations, etc., in an Industrial/Commercial/Government undertaking.
Desirable Qualifications
- Post Graduate degree/diploma in Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, Social Work, Labour Welfare or allied subjects.
- OR Degree in Law from a recognized University/Institution.
Service Eligibility for Absorption/Deputation
Officers holding posts in the scale of pay of ₹80,000–2,20,000 with 3 years regular service in the grade in the General Administration / Human Resources Development Department of a Major Port Authority are eligible. For deputation, officers holding analogous posts or Senior Deputy Secretary equivalent posts in the relevant scale in Government/Semi Government/Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies (other than Major Ports) with 3 years regular service in the grade are eligible.

Upper Age Limit for Direct Recruitment: 45 Years
Selection Process
- Selection is by merit.
- Overall grading in APAR/ACR should not be below “Very Good”.
- Vigilance and Administrative clearance required.
- Evaluation by Services Selection Committee.
- Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
