MECON Limited (A PSU under Ministry of Steel, Government of India), headquartered at Doranda, Ranchi – 834002, has released Advertisement No. 11.73.4.3/2025/Reg/07 dated 06 November 2025 for the recruitment of experienced personnel in Regular Scale of Pay through online application mode only.

Diplomas (Post Codes 01–05) must be from Regular/Full-Time programs.
Minimum qualifying marks: UR/OBC/EWS – 60%, SC/ST/PwD – 55%.
CGPA must be converted to a percentage using the university’s formula. If unavailable, a 10-point scale conversion of 6.0 = 60% applies.
Aggregate percentage must consider all years/semesters without rounding off.

Definition of Work Experience

Work experience must be full-time and in relevant areas.
Freelance and entrepreneurial experience will not be considered.
Articleship, internship, academic projects, teaching, and research experience are not counted.
Apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act is considered with valid certificates.

Reservation & Age Relaxations

Reservation available for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, PwD (40% and above) as per Government rules.
SC/ST: +5 years, OBC-NCL: +3 years, PwD: UR +10, OBC +13, SC/ST +15.
J&K Domicile (01.01.1980–31.12.1989): +5 years.
Ex-servicemen relaxation as per Government guidelines.
Additional relaxation: +1 year for every extra year of experience (max +3 years).
Maximum permissible age after relaxation: 52 years.

Selection Process

The mode of selection is Personal Interview of provisionally shortlisted candidates. Shortlisting will be based on scrutiny of applications, declarations, and supporting documents submitted online.

The list of shortlisted candidates, interview date, time, and venue will be uploaded on MECON’s website and communicated via registered email IDs.

Final results and further joining instructions will also be sent through the official website and email only.
