Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- B.Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum CGPA 7.0/10 or 70% marks.
- M.Tech degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Soil Dynamics with minimum CGPA 6.5/10 or 65% marks.
- Candidate must have qualified GATE in Civil Engineering.
Additional Requirements
- Candidate must have good knowledge of slope stability analysis.
- Candidates having knowledge of numerical modelling will be preferred.
- Good programming skills in Matlab or Python will be preferred.
- Candidate must be able to perform field visits to project sites located in Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct geotechnical site investigations.
- Perform laboratory characterization of soil and geotechnical materials.
- Implement real-time slope monitoring using subsurface instrumentation.
- Analyze monitoring datasets and interpret field data.
- Carry out research-related tasks on slope stability and monitoring.
- Prepare research reports and technical presentations within strict deadlines.
- Work towards publishing research outcomes in reputed research journals.
