Eligibility Criteria (Minimum Qualification)
Option A: M.E. / M.Tech
- Required Qualification: M.E. / M.Tech (Electrical / Energy / Mechanical Engineering)
- Required Knowledge Area: Knowledge of the Power System / Power Sector / Energy Sector
- Preferred: Experience in data analytics and a good understanding of the regulatory and policy aspects of the Indian power market
- Added Advantage: Expertise in production cost modeling using GAMS / Python / R
Option B: B.Tech + Experience
- Required Qualification: B.Tech (Electrical / Energy / Mechanical Engineering)
- Required Experience: + 3 years of relevant experience in the Power System / Power Sector / Energy Sector
- Preferred: An understanding of the regulatory and policy aspects of the Indian power market
- Preferred: Experience in data analytics
- Added Advantage: Experience in production cost modeling, preferably using GAMS / Python / R
Desired Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of power market products and regulatory frameworks, including the Grid Code, Deviation Settlement Mechanism (DSM), Ancillary Services, etc.
- Proven expertise in data analysis, modelling, research, and problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write comprehensive reports.
- Ability to compile and analyse power system data.
Responsibilities (Key Role Requirements)
- Conducting strong research, analysis, and problem-solving.
- Analysing policy and regulatory documents, including review and summarization.
- Performing data analysis and supporting the team in day-to-day activities.
- Preparing high-quality reports, research articles and documentation.
- Contributing to tasks and activities relevant to ongoing projects.
- Any additional responsibilities related to the work as assigned.
