Recruitment Notification Summary
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the recruitment of various posts in the 15 bedded Drug De-Addiction Centres at Area Hospital Bapatla and Narasaraopeta, Erstwhile Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, under the control of District Coordinator of Hospital Services (DCHS). These positions are being filled on a Contract/Outsourcing basis.

Eligibility Criteria
- Doctor: MBBS with registration and must undergo training arranged by MOSJE/NISD within 3 months of joining.
- Project Coordinator: Graduate with 3 years’ experience managing such centres or demonstrable capability; computer knowledge required.
- Nurse (ANM): Qualified Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) trained at a recognized Government Medical Institution.
- Ward Boy: 8th pass, preferably experienced in such centres; must be trained.
- Counselor/Social Worker/Psychologist: Graduate in Social Sciences (preferably Social Work or Psychology) with 1–2 years of experience; must know English and one regional language. Preference for candidates holding certificate in De-Addiction Counseling.
- Accountant cum Clerk: Graduate with knowledge of accounts and working knowledge of computers.
- Peer Educator: Literate, Ex-drug user with 1–2 years sobriety, communication skills, willingness to refrain from drug use, and commitment to work for prevention of relapse.
- Chowkidar: Must have passed 5th class and able to ride a bicycle.
- House Keeping Worker: Must be able to read and write in Telugu.
- Yoga/Music/Art Teacher (Part Time): Minimum 3 years of experience in the respective discipline.
Age Limit
Upper age limit is 42 years as on 31.07.2025. Relaxations apply as follows:
- SC, ST, BC, EWS: 5 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years + service length
- Differently Abled Persons: 10 years
Maximum age limit with relaxations: 52 years
Reservation Policy
Reservations will be followed as per G.O.Ms.No.77 (02.08.2023) & G.O.Ms.No.7 (18.04.2025) by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Roster Points for OC, SC, and BC-A are applicable.

Selection Process
- 90% Weightage: Aggregate of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- 10% Weightage: For number of years since qualification (1 mark per year, up to 10 marks).
Application Process
Candidates must submit filled applications physically or by Registered Post to the Office of the District Coordinator of Hospital Services (DCHS), Guntur. Application forms can be downloaded from the official website. Candidates must obtain a dated acknowledgement at the time of submission.
Other Important Information
- Selected candidates must compulsorily stay at their allotted headquarters.
- An agreement on ₹110/- non-judicial stamp paper with two witnesses must be submitted at the time of reporting for duty.
- Applications without necessary certificates will be rejected.
- False information or ineligibility will result in debarment from recruitment.
- The decision of the department is final in all recruitment matters.
