Educational and Other Qualifications – Assistant Director
- Essential Qualification Option 1:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University or Institution
- Five years of experience in the relevant field
- Essential Qualification Option 2:
- Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University or Institution
- Three years of experience in the relevant field
- Knowledge of Konkani is mandatory
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in waste management
- Knowledge of Geographical Information System (GIS) or Remote Sensing
- Knowledge of Marathi

Educational and Other Qualifications – Lecturer
- Essential Qualifications:
- First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering or Technology
- OR First Class Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering or Technology
- Knowledge of Konkani is mandatory
- Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi
- Note: Appropriate branch refers to the branch in which the post is to be filled or any branch with demonstrative evidence of similarity in subject matter.
Application Process
- Applications must be submitted online only
- Candidates must apply through the Goa Public Service Commission website or the Government of Goa portal
- Candidates must read the instructions available on the Commission’s website before applying
- Applicants must provide a valid email address and mobile number
Application Fee Payment Instructions
- Online Mode:
- Make online payment
- Download e-receipt showing successful payment status
- Offline Mode:
- Generate e-challan
- Make cash payment at any SBI Branch situated in Goa only
- Bank stamped e-challan must be submitted to the Commission’s office
- E-challan is valid for seven days from the date of generation
- Only after successful payment can candidates download the application form
- Applications with fee payment after the last date will be rejected without refund
- Exact application fee amount is not mentioned in the notification
Selection Process
- Candidates may be shortlisted if a large number of applications are received
- Final selection will be through an interview conducted by the Goa Public Service Commission
- Possession of minimum qualifications does not guarantee a call for interview
Reservation and Language Requirements
- Reservation is applicable as per Government of Goa rules
- Knowledge of Konkani is mandatory for all posts
- In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with knowledge of Konkani, relaxation may be granted by the Government of Goa on the recommendation of GPSC for Group ‘A’ posts in professional colleges and consultants under the Directorate of Health Services
