Application Process

2. Candidates must have a valid email ID and mobile number which will remain active during the recruitment process.
3. Upload scanned copies of required documents at the time of online application:
   • Age proof document (Class X admit card / pass certificate / date of birth certificate)
   • Degree/Diploma in Library Science (pass certificate / final consolidated marksheet)
   • Caste certificate (if applicable)
   • Disability certificate (if applicable, for PwBD candidates)
4. Original documents must be produced at subsequent stages when asked for. No modifications will be entertained once submitted.

Selection Process

• Stage I – Written Examination (120 marks):
  • General Knowledge – 40 marks
  • Library Science – 40 marks
  • General Aptitude – 20 marks
  • Assamese (Qualifying only) – 20 marks (must secure at least 8 marks to qualify)
• Stage II – Interview/Viva Voce: 20 marks
• Final Selection: Based on aggregate marks of Stage I and Stage II.
  • In case of tie, candidate with higher marks in the written exam will be preferred.
  • If still tied, older candidate (by age) will be preferred.
