Remuneration Details

Super Specialist (Full-Time)

• Entry Level: ₹2,00,000/- per month
• Senior Level: ₹2,40,000/- per month

Super Specialist (Part-Time)

• Entry Level: ₹1,00,000/- per month + ₹20,000/- emergency visiting charges (if willing)
• Additional ₹1,200/- per extra hour beyond 16 hrs/week
• Senior Consultant: ₹1,50,000/- per month + ₹20,000/- emergency charges + ₹1,500/- per extra hour

Specialist (Full-Time)

• Level 11 Junior Specialist: ₹1,38,108/- per month
• Level 12 Senior Specialist: ₹1,60,752/- per month

Specialist (Part-Time)

• ₹60,000/- per month + ₹15,000/- for emergency + ₹800/- per hour beyond 16 hrs/week

Senior Resident (1 Year)

• Level 11 as per 7th CPC
• Total Emoluments: ₹1,38,108/- (PG Degree holders)
• ₹1,350/- deduction for Diploma holders

Eligibility Criteria

Super Specialist (Entry/Senior Level)

• Recognized medical qualification under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• MCh/DM/DNB or equivalent in the concerned super specialty.
• Must be registered with the Medical Council.
• For Senior Consultant: Minimum 5 years post super-specialty experience.

Specialist (Junior/Senior)

• Post Graduate Degree/DNB or Diploma in the concerned specialty after MBBS with TCMC registration.
• For ICU/Casualty: PG in Anesthesiology, General Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
• Experience: 3 years (Degree holders) / 5 years (Diploma holders) for Junior, and 5 years (Degree) / 7 years (Diploma) for Senior Specialist.

Senior Resident

• DM/DrNB in concerned superspecialty preferred.
• MD/DNB/Diploma in concerned specialty after MBBS with TCMC registration.
• For ICU: PG/Diploma in Anesthesiology, General Medicine, Pulmonary, or Emergency Medicine.

Age Limit

• Super Specialist / Specialist: Not exceeding 69 years as on the date of interview (Tenure beyond 70 years not allowed).
• Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per rules).

Application Fee

• ₹250/- for General, EWS & OBC candidates.
• ₹50/- for SC/ST candidates.
• PWD and Female applicants are exempted from fees.
• Payment through Demand Draft in favor of Employees’ State Insurance Fund – Account No. 1 payable at Kollam.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on qualification, experience, and interview performance. Candidates must bring the following documents to the interview venue:

• Original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies.
• Caste certificate, if applicable.
• Two recent passport size photographs (one affixed on application form).
• Demand Draft for the application fee.

Other Important Instructions

• Private practice of any kind is not allowed except for part-time roles.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
• Selected candidates must have a professional indemnity insurance policy covering professional liability (₹10–30 lakh depending on specialty).
• Selected candidates must submit a refundable security deposit of ₹15,000/- at the time of joining.
• Engagement may be terminated by either side with one month’s notice or equivalent pay.
• Vacancies may change depending on actual requirement.
• PWD candidates will be selected as per government rules.
• Corrigenda, if any, will be published only on the official website.
