Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a distinguished academician.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as Professor or equivalent in University or Research Institutions.
• Must have high academic standards and integrity.
• Administrative experience in agricultural, horticultural, forestry or allied sciences is preferred.
• Minimum 20 years experience in Agriculture research services.
• Must meet qualifications as per Rule-5 of the Himachal Pradesh Universities of Agriculture, Horticulture & Forestry Rules, 2026.

Age Limit

The appointment will be for a period of 3 years or up to the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
