Application Process

Applications are invited for engagement of Senior Consultant in Radiology Department on visiting basis at Delhi State Cancer Institute, Delhi. The application process is offline. The last date of receiving the application is clearly specified in the notification, and the application must reach the designated office by the prescribed deadline.

1. Prepare the application for the post of Senior Consultant in Radiology Department on visiting basis.
2. Submit the application either by Post or by Hand.
3. Address the application to the CRU Section, DSCI for further consideration.
4. Ensure that the application reaches Office of Director, 01st Floor, Admin Block, Delhi State Cancer Institute (East), Dilshad Garden, Delhi-110095 by 05:00 PM on 28.04.2026.
5. Candidates should regularly visit the official DSCI website and Delhi Government Health website for information related to the recruitment, as any addendum, further information, if any, shall be published there.

The notification clearly states that final selection will be based on the personal interview of the candidates before a duly constituted Selection Committee of the Institute.

• Applications shall be scrutinized first.
• Interviews of eligible candidates shall be held in DSCI.
• No separate communication shall be sent to anybody beyond the interview-related intimation to eligible candidates.

Terms and Conditions

1. The applications shall be scrutinized and interviews of eligible candidate shall be held in DSCI. No separate communication shall be sent to anybody.
2. The engagement of Senior Consultant on contract basis will be against the vacant and sanctioned post till the time post is filled up on regular basis or alternative arrangement is made.
3. The engagement will be purely on a visiting basis, preferably two days in a week or subject to requirement of this Institute, with a maximum of 10 days per month.
4. The remuneration shall be paid at Rs. 6000/- per visit. No other allowances will be paid.
5. Consent for registration under the PCPNDT Act for DSCI is mandatory.
6. The engagement can be terminated at any time (on either side) by giving one month's notice.
7. The candidate should not have been involved in any criminal proceedings by any Court of Law. The selected candidates shall have to submit the Police Verification Report / Vigilance Clearance (in case of retired from Govt Service) at the time of joining at this Institute.
8. The candidates while appearing for interview will produce all relevant original documents.
9. Final selection will be based on the personal interview of the candidates before a duly constituted Selection Committee of the Institute.
10. The appointment will be terminated if any declaration / information furnished is found false or any material / fact is suppressed willfully at any time of the service.
11. The selected candidates will have to follow rules & regulations of this Institute.
12. Dispute, if any, shall be restricted to the jurisdiction of Delhi / New Delhi only.

• Delhi State Cancer Institute is described in the notification as a chain of autonomous, dedicated Cancer Institutions under the Government of NCT of Delhi.
• The Institute has two setups in East and West Delhi.
• The recruited staff may be posted at any of the setup of DSCI.
• The engagement is initially for one year.
• Extension is subject to satisfactory performance.
• The engagement may continue only till the post of Professor in Radiology / Onco-imaging is filled, whichever is earlier.
