Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Full-time three-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent trade.
- Qualification must be from a Government recognized University or Institute.
- Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA is mandatory.
Essential Experience
- Minimum one year of experience in DC Traction Metro Rail System.
- Experience may be from Metro Rail systems, Government organizations, Railways, or Private organizations.
- Candidate must be conversant with working in a computerized environment.
- Candidate must be free from Disciplinary & Appeal (D&AR) and Vigilance cases.
Desirable Experience
- Operation and Maintenance of 750V DC 3rd Rail Traction System
- Operation and Maintenance of Receiving Substations (66 kV or above)
- Experience with Battery Banks, Battery Chargers, LT Panels, Distribution Boards
- Hands-on experience with Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS)
- Hands-on experience with SCADA systems for Auxiliary and Traction networks
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 32 years (as on 01 December 2025)
- Existing DMRC employees in continuous service as on 01 December 2025 are eligible for 5 years of age relaxation.
