Base Salary

Level 13 in Pay Matrix (approximately ₹1,23,100 – ₹2,15,900 per month depending on allowances).

Employment Type

Deputation basis – initially for 3 years, extendable up to 5 years on a year-to-year basis.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Diploma or Degree in Journalism / Mass Communication / Public Relations / Advertising or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.
• Experience: 12 years of journalism experience in a responsible capacity in a reputed newspaper/news agency (print or electronic media), or equivalent experience in publicity and public relations work in a government department or reputed commercial publicity organization.
• Required Position: Holding analogous post on a regular basis (Pay Level 13) in parent cadre/department, or with 5 years of regular service in Pay Band III with Grade Pay ₹7,600.

Additional Eligibility Conditions

1. Applications must be forwarded through the Cadre Controlling Authority along with:
   • Cadre clearance
   • Vigilance clearance
   • Detailed CV in prescribed proforma
   • Certified details of minor/major penalties during the last 10 years
   • Confidential Reports (CR) dossiers for the last 5 years
2. Applicant must mention substantive post held in the parent department, corresponding pay scales under 6th and 7th CPC, and financial upgradations under ACP/MACP, if any.
3. Duties and responsibilities in the parent cadre post should be comparable to those of the deputation post.
4. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained.
5. Officers will be posted purely on transfer on deputation basis. Request for absorption will not be entertained.
6. Eligibility of the applicant will be determined as on the last date of receipt of application in DDA.
