Application Process

1. The recruitment will be conducted through Walk-in Interview mode.
2. Eligible candidates must appear in person at the interview venue on the scheduled date and time.
3. Candidates must bring a duly filled bio-data in the prescribed format with a recent passport size photograph.
4. Self-attested photocopies of certificates along with original documents for verification are mandatory.
5. Valid ID proof such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card or Driving License must be produced.
6. Candidates employed in Government / PSU / Autonomous bodies must apply through proper channel.

Eligibility Criteria

Research Associate (RA)

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Chemistry / Material Science / Polymer Science from a recognized university.
• Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis may appear in the interview.
• Associateship will be awarded only after award of Ph.D. degree or provisional certificate.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• Postgraduate degree in relevant basic science discipline in First Division with NET qualification, OR
• B.E./B.Tech in relevant discipline in First Division with GATE/NET, OR
• M.E./M.Tech in relevant professional discipline in First Division at both Graduate and Postgraduate levels.

Age Limit (as on Date of Interview)

Reservation Details

• Reservation applicable as per Government of India norms.
• Categories: General, SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer).
• Wherever OBC is mentioned, it refers only to Non-Creamy Layer candidates.

Selection Process

• Selection will be through Walk-in Interview.
• Selection will be based on educational qualifications, research suitability and interview performance.
• Director, DMSRDE reserves the right to not select any candidate if suitable candidates are not found.

• RA and JRF are not entitled to DA, CCA, Bonus or retirement benefits.
• Medical facilities are available for self only through MI Room at the campus.
