Reservation Details

Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Qualification: 10+2 / XII or its equivalent
- Typing Proficiency: Required for JSA as per DoPT norms
- Stenography Proficiency: Required for Junior Stenographer as per DoPT norms
- A 3-year Diploma after 10th is treated as equivalent to 10+2 for eligibility
Application Process
- Applications must be submitted online through the official website: https://www.nio.res.in
- Application fee must be paid online using SBI Collect (link available in the application portal).
- Candidates wishing to apply for both Junior Stenographer and Junior Secretariat Assistant must submit separate applications and pay applicable fees for each.
- A single application is sufficient to apply for multiple JSA cadres (General, Finance & Accounts, and Stores & Purchase), with preferences to be selected during application.
- Preference selected during application will be final and cannot be changed later.

- General / OBC / EWS Candidates: ₹500/-
- Women / SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: No Fee
- Fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances.
Selection Process
- Written examination (tentatively in the 1st week of July 2025)
- Skill Test:
- Typing test for Junior Secretariat Assistant as per DoPT norms
- Stenography test for Junior Stenographer as per DoPT norms
- Final selection based on Merit-cum-Preference for JSA cadres
