Important Dates

• Notification Date: 13 October 2025

• Applications must be sent only through Registered Post or Speed Post.

Application Process

1. Candidates must fill the prescribed application form carefully.
2. Send the duly filled form by Registered Post/Speed Post to: Divisional Forest Officer, Kawardha Forest Division, Kawardha (C.G.).
3. Applications received after the last date or found incomplete will be rejected.
4. Attach a self-addressed envelope with a ₹5 postal stamp.
5. Mention the Employment Registration Number and Date clearly on the application form.
6. Attach all required documents — educational, sports, domicile, and category certificates duly attested.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) examination from a recognized board.
• Sports Qualification: Candidates should have represented and achieved proficiency at the National Level in either Volleyball or Basketball.
• Physical Standards:
  • Male: Height – 163 cm (152 cm for SC/ST), Chest – 79 cm (minimum) with 5 cm expansion.
  • Walking Test: Male – 25 km in 4 hours, Female – 14 km in 4 hours.
  • Candidate must be medically fit as per the department's physical standards.

Age Limit

As on 01 January 2024:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years
• Age relaxation applicable as per Chhattisgarh Government rules.

Reservation Details

Reservation and relaxation will be provided as per state government norms.

Selection Process

1. Scrutiny of all received applications.
2. Physical and sports test as per departmental recruitment rules.
3. Preparation of merit list based on performance and eligibility.
4. Updates and results will be published on the official websites of the Chhattisgarh Forest Department.

Other Important Information

• Selected candidates will be appointed on a 3-year probation period.
• Appointment is subject to the final decision in SLP (C) No. 19668/2022 of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, New Delhi.
• Only permanent residents (domicile holders) of Chhattisgarh are eligible for this recruitment.
• No Travel Allowance (TA/DA) will be provided for attending selection tests.
• Recruitment will be conducted under the Chhattisgarh Forest Department Direct Recruitment Rules, 2020.
