Eligibility Criteria
- Retired officers belonging to Audit and Accounts Services or other similar organized Accounts Services in Central/State Government, holding the post of Internal Audit Officer on regular basis.
- OR Retired officers with three years regular service in Level 11 or equivalent in the area of Audit and Accounts in any Government Department/Autonomous Bodies.
- OR Retired officers with five years regular service in Level 10 or equivalent in the area of Audit and Accounts in any Government Department/Autonomous Bodies.
- Applicants must be in good health for effectively discharging official duties.
Age Limit
The applicant should not have attained the age of more than 65 years as on the closing date of application (5th October 2025).
Other Service Conditions
- Leave entitlement: 1.5 days paid leave per complete month of service. Accumulation beyond calendar year not allowed. Compensatory off may be provided for services on weekends/holidays.
- House Rent Allowance (HRA): Not admissible. Modest accommodation may be provided on nominal charges as per availability.
- Transport Allowance: Not admissible for commuting. TA/DA may be provided for official tours as per entitlement.
- Confidentiality: Consultant must comply with the Official Secrets Act, 1923, and maintain strict confidentiality of records/data.
- Tax Deduction: Applicable taxes will be deducted at source; TDS certificate will be issued.
- Termination: Engagement can be terminated by the University with one month’s notice. Consultant may also resign with one month’s notice, subject to workload.
