Detailed Job Description

The institute is seeking a highly motivated Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the field of high-energy physics with particular emphasis on the theoretical and phenomenological aspects of relativistic heavy-ion collision physics.

The selected candidate will contribute to research problems related to the development of relativistic hydrodynamic frameworks for spin-polarized matter produced in heavy-ion collisions along with numerical implementations and phenomenological applications.

The project provides an opportunity to work at the intersection of several advanced research areas, including relativistic kinetic theory, relativistic hydrodynamics, spin dynamics in relativistic media, and quark-gluon plasma phenomenology.

The selected candidate will work closely with Prof. Arpan Das from BITS Pilani and Prof. Amaresh Jaiswal from NISER Bhubaneswar, along with their respective research groups.

Candidates will be encouraged to develop independent research ideas within the broader scope of the project and actively participate in collaborative research activities.

The position offers exposure to national and international collaborations, opportunities to present research at conferences and workshops, and an excellent academic environment for developing a long-term research career in high-energy nuclear physics.
