Eligibility Criteria
- Only permanent employees who have fulfilled the minimum prescribed qualification as on 30.09.2025 may apply.
- Trainees are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates in higher post/grade must give an undertaking to accept a lower post/grade if selected. Basic pay will be protected on selection.
- Minimum “GOOD” CR rating required for completed year of service; for candidates with more than 3 years of service, last 3 years’ CR ratings are required.
- Vigilance/Departmental clearance must be “Clear.”

Selection Process
- Selection subject to vacancy as per approved Manpower Budget of BCCL.
- Candidates will be called for Trade Test / Selection Test at date and venue decided by NEE Department, HQ.
- Selection based on relative performance in Trade Test / Selection Test.
- In case of a tie, the date of appointment will be considered. If still tied, older candidate (by DOB) will be placed higher.
- Final merit list will be prepared based on vacancy, cadre scheme, and vigilance clearance.
- Selected candidates may be posted in any Area/Unit/HQ establishment of BCCL.
