Engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961

Base Salary / Stipend

The apprentices will receive a stipend of ₹15,000 per month during the engagement period of one year. Apprentices are not eligible for any other allowance or benefit. Stipend is paid monthly after adjusting Loss of Pay, if any.

Application Process

Candidates must first register themselves on the apprenticeship portals of the Government of India:
- NAPS Portal: https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
- NATS Portal: https://nats.education.gov.in
Apply for “Bank of Baroda” apprenticeship on the respective portal after registration.
Candidates will receive an email from info@bfsissc.com with instructions to fill the “Application cum Examination Form”.
Applicants must submit personal data, choice of training locations, category, PwBD status, and make payment of examination fee online.
It is mandatory to note the Enrollment ID (from NATS) and Apprenticeship Registration Code (from NAPS) for all future correspondence.
Application registration will be treated as complete only after successful payment of examination fee to BFSI SSC.

Eligibility Criteria (as on 01.11.2025)

Educational Qualification	Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. For candidates under NATS, the date of passing graduation should not be more than four years prior to 01.11.2025.
Other Conditions	Candidate should not have undergone Apprenticeship in Bank of Baroda or any other establishment in the past. Candidate should not have been terminated during any previous Apprenticeship training. Candidate should not currently be pursuing Apprenticeship training elsewhere. Candidate with training or job experience of one year or more after qualification is ineligible.

The apprenticeship program will consist of 12 months of on-the-job training.

Selection Process

Online Examination:

Objective-type test of 100 questions (60 minutes). No negative marking.

Minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank. Merit list will be prepared State-wise and Category-wise.

Document Verification:
Candidates qualifying in the online test must attend document verification at their own cost in the applied State/UT.
Local Language Proficiency Test:
Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the local language of their applied State/UT. Those producing 10th or 12th mark-sheet showing study of the specified language are exempted.
Medical Fitness:
Engagement is subject to being declared medically fit as per Bank requirements.
Final Selection & Wait-List:
Final merit will depend on eligibility, marks, document verification, language test, and medical fitness. A State-wise wait-list (valid 1 year) will be prepared for non-reporting candidates.

Job Profile

This apprenticeship does not constitute regular or contractual employment with Bank of Baroda. Apprentices are trainees only and are not entitled to employee benefits of the Bank.

Contract of Apprenticeship

Candidates selected for engagement will receive a digital Apprenticeship Contract through the official government portals (NAPS / NATS). They must accept it within the stipulated time to commence training.

Stipend / Benefits

All engaged apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹ 15,000. No additional allowance or benefit is admissible.

Assessment and Certification

After completion of the 12-month training, apprentices must undergo final assessment. On qualifying, they will receive an official Apprenticeship Certificate.

Key Terms and Conditions

Candidates who have already undergone or are undergoing apprenticeship are ineligible.
Candidates with one year or more of job experience post-graduation are ineligible.
No reservation for Ex-servicemen / Disabled Ex-servicemen.
Apprentices have no claim for employment in Bank of Baroda after completion of training.
Bank reserves the right to cancel apprenticeship at any stage without prior notice for misconduct or non-compliance.
Apprentices cannot form or join any Union Body during engagement.
Incomplete applications will be rejected without communication.
Candidates are allowed only one valid application; multiple submissions will be disqualified.
Bank will not reimburse travel or accommodation expenses for any stage of the process.
Legal jurisdiction for disputes: Mumbai courts only.

Guidelines for Filling Online Application

Apply online only; no other mode accepted.
Register on NATS / NAPS portal and apply under “Bank of Baroda”.
Retain login ID and password of apprenticeship portals for future activities.
Candidates successfully applied will get email from BFSI SSC (info@bfsissc.com) to fill additional details and pay fees.
Scan and upload required documents: photograph, signature, certificates, etc., as per portal guidelines.
Verify all data before submission; no edits after clicking “Submit”.
Applications with unsuccessful fee payment will be invalid.
Apply well before the closing date to avoid network congestion.

Action Against Misconduct or Unfair Means

If any candidate is found using unfair means, impersonation, or false information, they may be disqualified, debarred, or have their apprenticeship terminated. Bank reserves the right to cancel candidature upon detection at any stage.

All notifications, addenda, results, and corrigenda will be available only on the following official websites. No physical communication will be sent to candidates.
