Salary and Pay Scale

Other allowances are admissible as per Assam State Government rules and regulations applicable from time to time.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
• The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
• As domicile proof, a valid Domicile Certificate such as PRC must be uploaded.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a BE/B.Tech degree in any of the following disciplines:

• Chemical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Industrial Production

All semester/year mark sheets or certificates reflecting the subjects must be uploaded.

Experience Requirement

Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in a Senior Managerial or Supervisory position in any Government/Semi-Government/Corporation/Board or in Private/Semi-private organization, preferably in Production Management or Production Engineering.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)

• Minimum Age: 45 years
• Maximum Age: 52 years

Relaxations:

• SC/ST candidates: up to 57 years
• OBC/MOBC candidates: up to 55 years
• Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): up to the age of retirement irrespective of category

The age of the candidate will be calculated on the basis of the Class-X or Class-XII Examination Admit Card / Pass Certificate / Marksheet where the Date of Birth (DOB) is clearly reflected. No other document will be accepted as proof of age.

Application Fees

Note: Applications without the prescribed fee will not be accepted and will be summarily rejected. Fees once paid will not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances.

Application Process (How to Apply)

1. Applicants must apply online through the APSC Recruitment website https://apscrecruitment.in.
2. Applicants not yet registered must first complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process.
3. Use a valid and active email address and mobile number for registration.
4. After registration, log in with the registered credentials to fill in details and upload documents.
5. Upload all required certificates (PDF format, max size 4 MB, scanned at 200 dpi in grayscale recommended).
6. Upload a recent photograph (50 KB–200 KB, not older than 3 months) and signature (50 KB–200 KB).
7. Check uploaded documents carefully before submission using the Preview option.
8. No editing is allowed after final submission. Ensure all uploads are correct.

Selection Process

The selection will follow the APSC norms and may include document verification, screening, and/or interview stages as per commission rules.

Government employees of Assam must upload a certificate of employment or ‘No Objection Certificate (NOC)’ issued by the competent authority.

Candidates must also submit a declaration under “The Small Family Norms” as per Government Notification No. ABP.69/2019/17 dated 6th November 2019.

Special Instructions and Notes

• Ex-servicemen must upload their Ex-Servicemen Identity Card issued by Zila Sainik Welfare Office of Assam and the Discharge Book.
• PwBD candidates must possess a Benchmark Disability of 40% or more, certified by a competent authority. As there is no reserved post for PwBD, they will compete under the open category.
• Candidates are advised to keep their One Time Registration (OTR) profile updated before applying.
• Applications without prescribed documents or fees will be rejected without notice.
