Eligibility Criteria

Senior Assistant (Electronics)

• Diploma in Electronics / Telecommunication / Radio Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience as on 06/12/2025.
• Only domicile candidates from North Eastern states eligible.

Junior Assistant (HR)

• Graduation in any stream.
• Qualifying Computer Literacy Test in MS Office (post CBT).
• Domicile from North Eastern states required.

Junior Assistant (Fire Services)

• 10th Pass + 3-year Diploma (Mechanical/Automobile/Fire) OR 12th Pass.
• Valid Driving License (Heavy/Medium/LMV with specified issue dates).
• Good physical fitness and specific height, chest, and weight criteria.
• Color vision and night vision normal; no deformities or chronic diseases.

Age Limit

Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years as on 06/12/2025.

• OBC (NCL): 3 years relaxation
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
• PwBD: 10–15 years relaxation depending on category
• Ex-Servicemen / Ex-Agniveers: As per Government norms
• AAI employees: Up to 10 years relaxation

Reservation Details

• Eligible only for domiciles of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura.
• PwBD candidates eligible only for Junior Assistant (HR) under Deaf/Hard of Hearing or Locomotor Disability.
• Ex-Servicemen and PwBD have horizontal reservation within respective categories.

Application Fees

• General / EWS / OBC: ₹1000/- (non-refundable)
• SC / ST / PwBD / Women / Ex-Servicemen / AAI Apprentices: No Fee
• Payment Mode: Online via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI

Selection Process

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective type questions on relevant subjects, GK, Reasoning, and English. Qualifying marks: 50% (UR/EWS/OBC) and 40% (SC/ST/PwBD).
2. Document Verification: For shortlisted candidates after CBT.
3. Driving and Physical Tests: For Fire Services post.
4. Computer Literacy Test: For HR post (qualifying only).
5. Medical Examination: As per AAI standards.
6. Training: Selected candidates will undergo training with stipend ₹25,000 per month and service bond obligations.

Candidates shall apply only through the official AAI website (www.aai.aero) under the “CAREERS” section.

1. Register with name, mobile number, and email ID.
2. Receive Application Sequence Number and Password.
3. Log in, complete personal, educational, and experience details.
4. Upload scanned documents, photo, and signature.
5. Pay applicable fee (if any) online and submit the application.
6. No hard copy needs to be sent to AAI.

Additional Information

• Posting can be anywhere in India at any AAI airport or establishment.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the examination or tests.
• Exam Centres: Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar, Naharlagun, Kohima, Agartala, Imphal, Aizawl, Shillong.
• All updates and admit cards will be issued through the registered email and AAI website only.
