Application Procedure

Candidates must download and fill the application form provided in the notification. After completing the form, the hard copy must be sent to the following address. Submission of the online form alone will not be considered.

Candidates already working under government departments or research schemes must apply through proper channel with a forwarding certificate from their employer/Principal Investigator indicating immediate relieving upon selection.

Important Dates

• Last date for receipt of hard copy application: 25-11-2025 (5 PM)
• Tentative date of Interview: Within 20 days after the last date of receiving applications
• Interview Venue: Medical College Building, AIIMS Guwahati
• Mode of Interview: Physical / Online
  A physical practical skill demonstration may be conducted for shortlisted candidates if required, at the discretion of the Selection Committee.

Selection Process

1. Screening and shortlisting of applications
2. Interview in physical or online mode
3. Practical skill demonstration (if required)
4. Final selection based on overall performance

Selected candidates must join within 14 days of the result announcement on the AIIMS Guwahati website. Failure to join within the stipulated time will result in the offer being extended to the next candidate on the waiting list.

Important Notes

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
• Applications received after the due date will not be considered.
• The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project duration.
• The Principal Investigator reserves the right to terminate the tenure with one-month notice, and the candidate may also resign with similar notice.
