Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be Indian Nationals.
• Should have a good track record in academics/service with proven contributions in the relevant subject areas.
• Retired Forest Officers or Scientists with relevant field experience are encouraged to apply.

Age Limit

• Maximum age limit is 65 years.
• Age can be relaxed up to 70 years in exceptional cases with the approval of the Director, WII.

Selection Process

• An Internal Screening Committee will shortlist the applications based on subject relevance and experience.
• The list of shortlisted candidates will be hosted on the WII website.
• Fulfilling eligibility criteria does not automatically entitle applicants to be listed in the empanelled list.
• The decision of the Institute will be final and binding.
• No correspondence or inquiries will be entertained regarding the selection process.
• The Director, WII reserves the right to reject applications with incomplete information or for other reasons.
