Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Doctorate Degree in the subject Concerned or relevant basic science.
- 15 years of teaching (UG/PG)/research/extension experience in a substantial capacity out of which at least 5 years should be in the rank of a professor or equivalent in a reputed educational institution/organization.
- Evidence of contribution to Teaching/Research as supported by published work/innovations. Experience in Planning/Execution/Coordination of Teaching/Research Programme/Activities in the concerned subject.
Desirable Qualifications
- Eminent standing in the concerned discipline.
- Teaching/Research work experience.
- Administrative experience.
Eligible Cadre & Service Terms
- Officers/Faculty working in regular service in UGC recognized Universities / Research Institutions / Statutory and Autonomous organizations and the Department of Central/State Govt. / Union Territories / Public Sector undertakings shall be eligible to apply for the above-mentioned post.
- The posts are tenurial for a period of 03 years.
Age Limit & Superannuation
- Superannuation age in the University is 65 years.
