1. Technician Grade-II (Electrical) – PTCUL
- Base Salary / Pay Scale: Rs. 27,200 – Rs. 86,100 (Level–04)
- Age Limit: 18 years to 42 years
- Nature of Post: Non-Gazetted / Permanent / Employee Provident Fund (EPF) Entitled (अराजपत्रित / स्थाई / कर्मचारी भविष्य निधियुक्त)
- Essential Educational & Technical Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Devanagari script (देवनागरी लिपि का वृहद ज्ञान).
- High School or equivalent examination passed with Science and Mathematics subjects from a recognized Board.
- All India / State Trade Certificate in Electrician trade.
- Mandatory Experience: 02 years of relevant post-qualification work experience certificate obtained from any Government / Semi-Government / Limited / Private Limited / Registered Private Company / Registered Firm.
2. Technician Grade-II (Electrical) – UJVNL

- All India / State Trade Certificate in Electrician OR Electronics trade.
- Mandatory Experience: 02 years of relevant post-qualification work experience (अनुभव योग्यता उपरान्त / Post Qualification) obtained from any Government / Semi-Government / Limited / Private Limited / Registered Private Company / Registered Firm.
3. Technician Grade-II (Mechanical) – UJVNL

- Age Limit: 18 years to 42 years
- Nature of Post: Non-Gazetted / Permanent / EPF Entitled (अराजपत्रित / स्थाई / ई०पी०एफ० युक्त)
- Essential Educational & Technical Qualifications:
- High School or equivalent examination passed with Science and Mathematics subjects from a recognized Board.
- All India / State Trade Certificate in Fitter trade.
- Mandatory Experience: 02 years of relevant post-qualification work experience (अनुभव योग्यता उपरान्त / Post Qualification) obtained from any Government / Semi-Government / Limited / Private Limited / Registered Private Company / Registered Firm.
Selection Process & Examination Pattern
The selection of candidates will be conducted through an Offline Competitive Written Examination (वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकार की बहुविकल्पीय Offline प्रतियोगी परीक्षा).
Written Test Structure
- Question Format: Objective Type with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
- Total Marks: 100 Marks
- Duration: 2 Hours (120 Minutes)
- Subject Matter: Questions related to the prescribed educational qualifications and trade curriculum of the post (detailed in Appendix-1 of the notification).
- Question Booklet Rule: Candidates are permitted to take their written examination question booklet with them after the conclusion of the test.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
- Unreserved (General), EWS & OBC Categories: Minimum 45% marks are compulsory.
- Scheduled Caste (SC) & Scheduled Tribe (ST) Categories: Minimum 35% marks are compulsory.
- Candidates scoring below these minimum qualifying thresholds will be considered ineligible/disqualified.
