Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualifications
1. Essential Educational Qualification (अनिवार्य अर्हता)
Candidates must have passed the Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a Board or Council established by law in India, or an institution recognized by the State Government of Uttarakhand, with Science or Mathematics.
2. Preferential Qualifications (अधिमानी अर्हताएं)
Other things being equal, preference will be given in direct recruitment to candidates who possess:
- Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two (02) years.
- Obtained 'B' or 'C' certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
3. State Eligibility Conditions (आवेदन हेतु पात्रता)
For direct recruitment to Group 'C' posts outside the purview of Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, a candidate must fulfill at least one of the following mandatory conditions:
- (a) Employment Exchange Registration: The candidate must be registered in any Employment Office located in the State of Uttarakhand on or before the last date of receipt of the application form.
- (b) Domicile / Permanent Residence: The candidate must be a holder of a valid Permanent Resident / Domicile Certificate of the State of Uttarakhand.
- (c) Education within the State: Only those candidates are eligible who have passed their High School (10th) and Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent level education from recognized institutions located within the State of Uttarakhand.
4. Medical & Visual Standards
No candidate will be appointed to any post by direct recruitment if their eyesight defect exceeds +/- 4.00 Diopters in normal vision.
