Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Maximum 35 years (as per advertisement date).
• Junior Research Fellow / Junior Project Fellow: As per Uttarakhand Government rules.

Reservation Details

Reservation will be applicable as per the Government of Uttarakhand rules. Candidates must clearly mention their category (SC/ST/OBC/General) in the application form.

Selection Process

1. All received applications will be screened based on essential and desirable qualifications, experience, and completeness of documentation.
2. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview by the Selection Committee.
3. Final selection will be based on interview performance and merit.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the Selection Committee shall be final and binding.

Roles and Responsibilities

The selected candidates will assist in preparation, monitoring, and evaluation of Assisted Natural Regeneration (ANR), CAT Plans, Eco Restoration Works, and Green India Mission (GIM) research works, along with other forestry and wildlife activities under the Bhagirathi Circle.

They will be responsible for technical assistance to Divisional Forest Officers and field staff, conducting field surveys, preparing maps, collecting data, monitoring intervention works, and assisting in forest-related activities as directed by the Conservator of Forests, Bhagirathi Circle.

• Government employees must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.
• The appointment is purely temporary and contractual; no claim for permanency shall be entertained.
• Either party may terminate engagement by serving one-month notice.
