Candidates must possess the relevant degrees from recognized Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared deemed universities under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956:

Female Candidates, SC, ST, and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) Candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
Accepted Payment Modes:
Payment can be made either by using the net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa / Master / RuPay Credit / Debit Card / UPI Payment for appearing in the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination, 2027.
Application Submission Instructions
- Candidates are required to apply online exclusively through the official UPSC portal.
- The online applications can be filled up to 22nd September, 2026 till 18:00 Hours.
- Eligible candidates must ensure that they satisfy all educational qualification requirements and criteria before submitting their form.
- Candidates must complete the fee payment of ₹ 200/- (unless falling under the exempted categories: Female/SC/ST/PwBD) using online modes before the stipulated deadline.
