Salary / Pay Scale
The selected candidates will receive pay in the Pay Matrix Level-14 under TSCS (Revised Pay) Rules, 2017.
Pre-revised Pay Band-4: ₹15,600 – ₹39,100 with Grade Pay of ₹5,400.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- Essential: Recognized Dental qualification included in Part I & III of the Schedule of the Dentist Act, 1948.
- Preferable: Recognized Post-Graduate degree as appended in the schedule.
- Preferable: Working knowledge of Bengali/Kokborok.
Residency Requirement
Applicants must possess a valid Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC), as per GA(P&T) Department Notification dated 07-07-2023.
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 40 years as on 10.10.2025.
Age relaxation:
- 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/PH candidates
- 5 years relaxation for Government servants
- Government employees belonging to SC/ST/PH shall not get additional relaxation over and above the general 5 years

Application Process
- Applications must be submitted online only via the Commission’s official website.
- No hard copy applications will be accepted.
- New applicants must complete One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) at the TPSC portal.
- A User ID will be generated and sent to the registered email and mobile number, which will be required for applying to the post.
- Applicants must ensure that in case of multiple submissions, the latest application number is complete in all respects, as only the latest application will be considered.
Application Fees
- General (UR) Candidates: ₹400
- ST/SC/BPL Card Holders/PH Candidates: ₹350
- Note: Recruitment fees are non-refundable.

Selection Process
- Written Examination: 85 marks
(Detailed syllabus as per Health & Family Welfare Department Notification F.10(138)-DME/Syllabus Framing/2021 dated 17.02.2022) - Interview / Personality Test: 15 marks
The test will assess personal qualities including intellectual ability, social traits, interest in current affairs, judgment, leadership, and moral integrity.

Final Selection: Based on aggregate marks obtained in Written Examination (85) + Interview/Personality Test (15). Merit list will be prepared accordingly.
Other Important Information
- Only online applications will be entertained.
- Multiple applications should be avoided. In case of multiple applications, the one with the latest Application Number will be accepted.
- Incomplete applications or those without requisite recruitment fee will be rejected.
- Decision of the Commission regarding eligibility or otherwise of a candidate will be final and binding.
- Examination venue entry will close 10 minutes before commencement. No entry will be allowed thereafter.
