Eligibility Criteria & Essential Qualification
- Must be an indigenous inhabitant of the State of Nagaland belonging to one of the following tribes:
- Any Naga Tribes
- Kuki
- Kachari
- Garo
- Mikir
- Must possess the minimum educational qualification of Class-VIII (8th Standard).
- Those who have passed HSSLC (12th) or above shall be ineligible to apply for the said posts.
- Candidates possessing special skills may be given preference on need basis.
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 32 years
Relaxation
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): 5 years relaxation (upper age limit of 37 years).
- Government Employees: Relaxation equal to years of service served, subject to a maximum of 5 years.
The age limit will be determined as on the last date of submission of application.
Reservation Details
Reservation available for Scheduled Tribes (Nagaland) as per state rules. PwBD candidates are exempted from application fees.
Application Process
Applications must be submitted online only. No other mode of application will be accepted. Before applying, candidates must possess a valid e-mail ID and mobile number.
- Log on through the websites https://ghconline.gov.in or https://kohimahighcourt.gov.in and click on “Online Application for the posts of Multi-Tasking Staff/Group-D in Kohima Bench of the Gauhati High Court”.
- Candidates need to upload scanned copies of the following documents at the time of submission of online application:
- Documents relating to age proof (Class X admit card / Birth certificate)
- Documents relating to eligibility criteria
- Certificate relating to reservation category (if any)
- Certificate relating to disability (if any)
Note: Though the system is designed to send e-mail immediately acknowledging the Registration Code, sometimes due to network congestion the e-mail may not be delivered. Hence, candidates are requested to note down the Registration Code.

Selection Process
Stage-I: Written Examination (50 Marks)
Written examination (Objective type multiple choice) will be of 1 hour 30 minutes (ninety minutes) duration on OMR sheet.
Stage-II: Viva-Voce / Interview (20 Marks)
Only those candidates who secure qualifying marks in the written examination will be called for viva-voce / interview.
