Remuneration and Allowances
- Monthly Remuneration: ₹80,000/- (fixed)
- Transport Allowance: ₹8,000/- per month (fixed)
- Medical Insurance Reimbursement: Up to ₹10,000/- per annum
- Annual Increment (on extension): ₹8,000/- per year for Associate Consultant
Employment Type
Contract basis, initially for 1 year, extendable annually up to a maximum of 4 years based on performance and TRAI’s requirements.

Other Important Information
- Consultants will not be employees of TRAI and will be engaged purely on contractual basis.
- They will assist TRAI in studies, analysis, formulation of consultation papers, recommendations, and regulatory work.
- Leave entitlement: 1.5 days paid leave for each completed month, in addition to gazetted holidays.
- Training support: Up to ₹25,000/- reimbursed annually for approved certification courses.
- Termination: Either side may terminate the contract with one month’s notice.
- Strict confidentiality, IP rights, and professional conduct rules apply.
