THDC India Limited (THDCIL) is a premier power sector PSU incorporated in July 1988 under the Companies Act, 1956. It developed and operates the 2400 MW Tehri Hydro Power Complex and has diversified into renewable and thermal generation. THDC was granted Mini Ratna–Category I status in 2009 and upgraded to Schedule ‘A’ in 2010. After strategic disinvestment in 2020, it became a subsidiary of NTPC Limited. Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Manager (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical)

• Full-time BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks.
• 4 years post-qualification experience (minimum 3 years in lower grade or equivalent in private sector).
• 59.99% marks not acceptable.

Senior Medical Officer

• MBBS degree recognized by MCI.
• Registration with Medical Council of India.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification medical experience.

Age Limit (as on 01 July 2025)

Relaxation: SC/ST +5 yrs, OBC(NCL) +3 yrs, PwBD +10/13/15 yrs, Ex-Servicemen & J&K domicile as per Govt. rules.

Salary, Grade & Benefits

Pay Scale: ₹60,000 – 3% – ₹1,80,000 (IDA) in E-3 Grade

Probation: 1 year

Promotion: Eligible for Deputy Manager (E-4 Grade ₹70,000–3%–₹2,00,000) after 4 years as per policy.

Selection Process

Assistant Manager

1. Screening Test (Qualifying) – UR/EWS/OBC: 50%; SC/ST/PwBD: 40%
2. Personal Interview – 100% weightage

Senior Medical Officer

Direct Personal Interview (no screening test).

Final merit will be based only on Interview marks category-wise.

Reservation Policy

Reservations are applicable for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen categories as per Government of India norms. Certificates must be issued in the current financial year in the prescribed format.

• Qualification should be full-time and recognized by AICTE/statutory authority.

• Age cutoff date: 01 July 2025.
• Canvassing or furnishing false information will result in disqualification/termination.
• No TA/DA for appearing in screening test.
• All disputes will fall under Dehradun (Uttarakhand) jurisdiction.
