Application Process

Applications must be submitted online only through the official website of the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB). No offline mode will be accepted.

• Valid email ID and mobile number are mandatory for registration.
• Applicants who had applied earlier under Notification Nos. 12/2019 and 02/2024 must reapply but are exempted from fee payment and age restrictions.
• All documents should be uploaded online during the application process; physical submission is not required.

Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
• Must have cleared NET/SLET/SET or possess a Ph.D. in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009/2016.
• Relaxation: 5% for SC/ST/MBC/DNC/BC/BCM/PwD candidates. Ph.D. holders with Master’s before 19.09.1991 also get 5% relaxation.
• For Special Recruitment (Hearing Impaired): Must have an RCI-approved Diploma/Special B.Ed. for teaching Hearing Impairment.
• Adequate knowledge of Tamil language is essential.

Age Limit

Maximum Age: 57 years as on 01.07.2025.

Age Relaxation: Granted for candidates who had applied under Notification Nos. 12/2019 and 02/2024.
