Salary (Pay Matrix Levels)
- Level 07: ₹44,900 + allowances (Scientific Assistant ‘C’)
- Level 06: ₹35,400 + allowances (Scientific Assistant ‘B’, Clinical Psychologist, Pharmacist ‘C1’)
- Level 04: ₹25,500 + allowances (Leading Fireman, Technician C)
- Level 02: ₹19,900 + allowances (Technician A)
Employment Type
Full-time, regular appointments. Appointments may also be made on a contractual basis for a fixed term with consolidated remuneration.

Application Process
- Candidates must apply online only via TMC portal.
- Required documents must be uploaded (DOB, educational qualifications, experience, caste, disability certificates, etc.).
- Originals with one set of photocopies to be carried during Written Examination / Skill Test / Interview.
- Government/PSU employees must apply via proper channel with NOC.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria including educational qualifications and experiences vary according to each post. These include combinations of B.Sc., M.Sc., Diplomas, Postgraduate Degrees, and specialized certifications with required years of relevant experience as detailed in the official notification.
Age Limit
- Most posts: 30 years
- Scientific Assistant ‘C’ (Nuclear Medicine): 35 years
- Leading Fireman: 25–30 years
- Technician A (CSSD): 27 years
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC: +3 years
- PwBD: +10 years (additional relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per rules)
- Ex-servicemen: length of service in Armed Forces + 3 years
- TMC employees: up to 5 years
Reservation Details
Reservations apply as per Government of India rules for UR, SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories. Specific reservation for each designation is mentioned in the table above.
Application Fee
- Application fee: ₹300 (non-refundable, to be paid online via Debit/Credit Card).
- Exempted categories: SC, ST, Female, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen (first-time civil job applicants).
Selection Process
The selection process differs according to posts:
- Posts 1–17 & 19–22: Written Examination + Skill Test (qualifying in nature).
- Post 18 (Leading Fireman): Physical Test, Written Exam, and Skill Test.
Written examinations will be of 100 marks (MCQ / MCQ + Subjective). For Fireman, physical standards including height, chest, and endurance are applicable as per the notification.

- Contract Appointments: May be offered for fixed term on consolidated remuneration.
- Legal Jurisdiction: SAS Nagar.
- Canvassing: Strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
