Recruitment Details
- Designation: Assistant Professor (Two Posts)

Educational Qualifications and Eligibility
Position 1
- Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Management or related areas.
- Master’s Degree: Master’s in Business Administration or allied subjects with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Demonstrated publication and research output in high-impact journals (WoS/Scopus Indexed).
- Demonstrated ability in analytics, visualization, understanding of Machine Learning, Data Curation, and Social Network Analysis.
- Ability to teach across programs including Masters in Analytics and BS in Analytics and Sustainability Studies.
Position 2
- Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Demography, or related areas.
- Master’s Degree: Master’s in Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Demography, or allied disciplines with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Affinity with field-based research, fieldwork, and sustainability agenda.
- Expertise in computation and programming languages (R, Python, Matlab).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, BI Tools, etc.).
- Expertise in teaching courses on modeling, advanced analytics, and fundamentals of machine learning.
- Research publications in high-impact journals (WoS/Scopus Indexed).
- Ability to teach across programs including Masters in Analytics and Undergraduate in Analytics and Sustainability Studies.
- Experience in applying statistical applications to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Eligibility Conditions (NET / SET / Ph.D.)
Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, or a similar test accredited by UGC such as SLET/SET. Candidates awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and subsequent amendments are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
Ph.D. holders from foreign universities ranked among the top 500 in World University Rankings (QS / THE / ARWU) are also eligible.
For candidates registered for Ph.D. prior to 11 July 2009, exemption from NET/SLET/SET will be applicable if the following conditions are fulfilled:
- The Ph.D. degree has been awarded in a regular mode.
- At least two external examiners have evaluated the thesis.
- An open viva voce was conducted.
- At least one research paper from the Ph.D. work published in a refereed journal.
