Selection Process
The selection process for the Specialist Cadre Officer positions consists of shortlisting, interview and CTC negotiation.
Shortlisting
Merely meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee that a candidate will be called for an interview.
A shortlisting committee constituted by SBI will determine the shortlisting parameters and select candidates for the interview.
Interview
- The interview carries 100 marks.
- Qualifying marks will be decided by SBI.
CTC Negotiation
CTC negotiation will be conducted with candidates according to merit.
If a candidate does not agree to the negotiated CTC, the candidate will be treated as having voluntarily exited the engagement exercise. The next candidate in the merit list may then be called for CTC negotiation.
Merit List
- The merit list will be prepared in descending order based on interview marks only.
- Where candidates obtain equal marks at the cut-off point, the older candidate will be ranked higher.
- Final selection will be made from the top candidates with whom CTC negotiation is successfully completed.
