Important Dates

Application Process

1. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on the official website: https://ssc.gov.in.
2. Fill and submit the Online Application Form via SSC website or "mySSC" mobile application.
3. Upload live-captured photograph and scanned signature (10–20 KB, 6.0 cm x 2.0 cm).
4. Pay application fee using online payment modes only (UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card).
5. Take printout of the submitted application form for reference.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Matriculation / 10th Class pass from a recognized board as on or before 01.01.2026.
• Citizenship: Candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Domicile: Candidates must possess a valid Domicile or Permanent Residence Certificate for the State/UT they are applying from.

Age Limit

Age as on 01.01.2026 should be between 18 to 23 years (i.e., born between 02.01.2003 and 01.01.2008).

Reservation Details

• Vacancies are distributed category-wise, gender-wise, and State/UT-wise for each CAPF and Assam Rifles.
• 10% of total vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen (ESM).
• Additional reservation for candidates from Border Guarding Districts and Naxal/Militancy affected areas.

Application Fee

Mode of Payment: Online only via BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Debit Card.

Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances or adjusted against any other examination.

Selection Process

1. Computer Based Examination (CBE) in English, Hindi, and 13 Regional Languages.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
4. Medical Examination (DME/RME)
5. Document Verification (DV)

Final selection and force allocation will be based on the merit in CBE and the preference indicated by candidates, subject to qualifying all other stages.

• Candidates with valid NCC Certificates are eligible for bonus marks: 5% (C Certificate), 3% (B Certificate), and 2% (A Certificate).
