Employment Details

• Employment Type: Contractual (Re-engagement for 1 year)
• Base Salary: Fixed monthly remuneration = Pay at retirement – Basic Pension
• No Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), or increments are permitted during the contract period.
• Fixed Transport Allowance will be provided (not exceeding the rate applicable at the time of retirement).

Eligibility Criteria

• Only retired Railway staff from relevant department/post are eligible.
• The candidate should not have been removed, dismissed, or compulsorily retired under Rule 56(j) or through DAR actions.
• Candidates retired under SRRS or LARSGESS schemes are not eligible.
• Applicant must be below 64 years and 6 months as on the last date (11 July 2025).
• No candidate shall be allowed to continue service beyond 65 years of age.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on an interview scheduled on 17 July 2025 at 11:00 AM in the chamber of Sr.DPO, Nagpur.

Additional Terms and Conditions

• Contractual term is for 1 year and may be terminated earlier with 15 days' notice by either party.
• Leave of 1.5 days per completed month is admissible. Leave cannot be carried forward beyond 1 year.
• No increments, DA or HRA during the contract term.
• A notarized agreement with ₹20 adhesive stamp must be signed by the candidate before joining.
• If RRB candidates join, services of re-engaged staff will be terminated immediately without notice.
