Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

1. Master's Degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
2. Master's Degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
3. Master's Degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
4. Master's Degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
5. Master's Degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English with both Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as the medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.

Additional Qualification / Experience

• Recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa.
• OR
• Two years of translation work experience from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central Government or State Government offices, including Government of India Undertakings.

1. Candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria should apply online through the official STPI website.
2. No mode of application other than online shall be accepted.
3. Applicants should ensure that all mandatory details are correctly filled in the online application form.
4. Only completely filled and successfully submitted online applications will be considered for further recruitment process.
5. Candidates working in Central Government, State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Organizations should submit a copy of the No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by their organization at the time of applying online.

Important Instructions

• Applications will be accepted only through online mode.
• Candidates should carefully fill all mandatory details in the online application form before submission.
• Incomplete online applications shall not be considered for the recruitment process.
• Candidates employed in Central Government, State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Organizations should submit a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) while applying online.
• Application fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
• The mode and process of fee payment will be available in the online application portal.
• The Written Examination (Paper-I) is tentatively scheduled during October–November 2026.
• STPI reserves the right to further relax the qualifying marks for final selection if considered necessary.
