Recruitment will be through Direct Recruitment and/or Absorption basis for eligible Government/PSU/Autonomous body employees. All appointments will be regular with a probation period of two years.
Pay Scales: Pay Matrix from Level-1 to Level-10 (₹18,000 – ₹1,77,500) as per post.

Application Process

Reservation and Relaxation Details

Selection Process
- Scientist ‘B’: Written Test followed by Interview (70:30 weightage).
- Group B & C Posts: Written Examination only.
- Office Attendant (S-I): Written Exam + Skill/Trade Test.
- Written Exam generally includes 150 MCQs (2.5 hours) on General Intelligence, Awareness, Numerical Aptitude, English, and Technical Subjects.
- Minimum qualifying marks: General 50%, OBC 45%, SC/ST 40%, PwD 5% additional relaxation.
- Exam Centres: Delhi/NCR and Bengaluru for Scientist ‘B’; others as per STPI arrangements.
Additional Important Instructions
- All eligibility (age, education, experience) must be fulfilled as on 12 January 2026.
- Incomplete/unsigned applications or missing documents will be rejected.
- STPI reserves the right to modify, cancel, or not fill any post.
- False information may lead to disqualification and legal action. Jurisdiction: Delhi Courts.
