SJVN Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the administrative control of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, was incorporated on May 24, 1988, as a joint venture of the Government of India (GOI) and the Government of Himachal Pradesh (GOHP). The company has commissioned fourteen projects totaling 2968 MW of installed capacity and has its business presence in multiple Indian states as well as in Nepal. For pre-construction and construction activities of its projects in the State of Arunachal Pradesh, SJVN invites applications from domiciles of Arunachal Pradesh for recruitment as Workmen / Workmen Trainee in various disciplines.

Pay Scales, Emoluments & Financial Benefits

In addition to Basic Pay, incumbents are entitled to IDA, allowances @ 35% of Basic Pay under cafeteria approach, HRA, Contributory Provident Fund, Conveyance Reimbursement, Leave Encashment, Performance Related Pay, Medical Facility for self & dependents, etc.
On successful completion of the training period of 1 year, Workmen Trainee (Cook) will be regularized in the W3 pay scale with 3% increment. Incumbents at W6 will be on probation for 1 year, after which they will be confirmed with one increment.

Selection Process
- Initial screening of applications.
- Written Test:
- 100 MCQs, 2 hours
- 80 questions: Discipline/Subject
- 20 questions: Reasoning, Aptitude, English, GK
- Qualifying Marks: UR/EWS 50%, ST/PwBD 40%
- No negative marking
- Trade Test (qualifying only; 50% UR/EWS, 40% reserved)
- Merit List: Based on written test marks (tie resolved by age seniority)
- Medical fitness mandatory for appointment
Service Agreement Bond
- General/EWS candidates: ₹2,00,000 (3 years service)
- SC/ST/PwBD candidates: ₹1,00,000 (3 years service)
