Educational Qualification and Experience

DGM (Civil – Tunnel Construction Expert)

Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum post-qualification experience: 11 years.
Experience in tunnel construction supervision and management.

DGM (Transport Economist)

Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (4 years), B.Arch (5 years), or Bachelor of Planning (4 years).
Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Management (Finance), Transport Engineering, Transport Planning, Transport Economics, Traffic Engineering, or equivalent discipline.
Minimum post-qualification experience: 11 years.
Experience in traffic and transport studies, consultancy assignments, transportation plans, transport economics, transport management, comprehensive mobility plans, mass transit studies, transport planning, economic and financial analysis.
Candidates should possess knowledge of IT database handling and analysis software.

DGM (Civil – Marine Structural Expert)

Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Post-graduation in Marine Structures, Coastal Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum post-qualification experience: 11 years.
At least 7 years of experience in design and construction of marine structures, including breakwater, shore protection works, dredging, reclamation, berths, piling and related activities.

Experience Requirements for Government and PSU Candidates

Candidates from Central Government, State Government, PSUs and autonomous organizations must possess a total experience of 11 years.
Candidates should have worked for at least 2 years in IDA pay scale of INR 60,000 – INR 1,80,000.
Candidates drawing CDA salary must have served in Level 11 of the 7th CPC pay matrix.
Candidates from organizations not following IDA/CDA scales should have served in equivalent scales.
The requirement of two years in the immediate lower scale shall not apply to candidates already working in the same or higher scale.

Experience Requirements for Private Sector Candidates

Total professional experience must be at least 11 years.
Annual CTC should be at least INR 23.94 lakh per annum as on the closing date.
The eligibility conditions shall apply to the latest organization where the candidate has worked or is working.

Minimum Marks Requirement

The degree should be recognized by AICTE.
Degrees must be obtained from universities established by an Act of Parliament, Central Government, State Government or institutions declared as Deemed Universities.
Sections A and B examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India) recognized by AICTE are also acceptable.
If percentage marks are not mentioned, candidates must provide the conversion formula issued by the university.
In the absence of a conversion formula, a university undertaking must be submitted.
In such cases, a CGPA of 6 out of 10 will be treated as equivalent to 60%.

Selection Process

Stage 1: Document Scrutiny

Documents uploaded by candidates will be scrutinized by RITES Limited.
Candidates found eligible will be called for document verification and interview.
Supporting documents substantiating all claims made in the application form must be uploaded.
Deficiencies, if any, will be published on the website.
Candidates must produce original documents during verification.
Failure to provide documents proving eligibility may result in cancellation of candidature.

Minimum qualifying marks for UR/EWS candidates: 60%.
Minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD candidates against reserved posts: 50%.
There will be no minimum qualifying marks in aggregate.
Candidates may appear for the interview either in Hindi or English.
Interviews may also be conducted from regional offices of RITES.

Medical Examination and Service Conditions

Appointment is subject to medical fitness as per RITES rules and standards.
Appointment will initially be on probation for one year.
Employees must clear the screening test for confirmation of services.
The probation period may be extended if the screening test is not cleared.
Employees cannot apply for outside jobs before completing two years of service in the company.
Apprenticeship experience under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 will be counted.
Internship, fellowship, teaching, academic work and PhD research experience will not be counted.
