- Remuneration may vary based on posting location and other appointment terms.
Employment Type
All positions are on Contract Basis, initially for one year, extendable until project completion based on mutual consent and satisfactory performance.

Application Process
- Apply online through the Careers section of RITES website.
- System will generate a Registration No. after submission, which must be noted for future communication.
- Applicants must fill all details correctly including identity proof, education, experience, category, etc.
- Upload scanned self-attested copies of required documents such as Date of Birth proof, Certificates, Caste Certificate, Identity Proof, PAN, Aadhaar, etc.
- Print and sign the application form; carry it along with original documents for verification during scrutiny/interview.
- Incomplete application or insufficient proof will result in rejection.
Eligibility Criteria & Experience
- QA/QC Expert: B.E./B.Tech Civil (PG preferred), 12 years experience with at least 7 years in water/sewerage sector and handling 2 projects as QA/QC Engineer.
- Mechanical Engineer: B.E./B.Tech Mechanical, 10 years experience (5 years in infrastructure sector).
- Electrical Engineer: B.E./B.Tech Electrical, 10 years experience (5 years in infrastructure sector).
- Contract Management Expert: B.E./B.Tech Civil (M.E./M.Tech preferred), 10 years experience with at least 3 years in government water supply/STP/UGD contract administration. Knowledge of contracts (Item rate, EPC, PPP) and bid preparation is mandatory.
- Assistant Civil Engineer: B.E./B.Tech Civil, 8 years experience (5 years in Program/Project Management or WSS/STP/UGD).
Degrees must be recognized by AICTE and obtained from approved institutions. Experience is calculated as on 08.10.2025. Training/internship/academic/research experience is not counted.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 55 years as on 08.10.2025
- Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years (in addition to other relaxations, if applicable)
Reservation Details
- Reservation as per Government rules for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, PwBD.
- PwBD candidates with ≥40% disability are eligible and will receive 10 years relaxation in age.
- Functional classifications include Locomotor Disability (OA, OL, Leprosy Cured, Acid Attack Victims), Hearing Impairment, etc.
- PwBD candidates may apply even if no specific vacancy is reserved for them; selection will be on merit.

No Application Fee is required for General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, or PwBD candidates.
Selection Process
- Selection based on Interview (100% weightage).
- Technical & Professional Proficiency: 65%; Personality, Communication & Competency: 35%.
- Minimum qualifying marks in interview: 60% for UR/EWS, 50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD (reserved posts).
- Candidates can appear in Hindi or English.
- Medical fitness is mandatory as per RITES standards.
