Application Process
- Apply online through the Career Section of the RITES website (www.rites.com).
- System will generate a Registration Number – this must be quoted in all future communication.
- Upload required documents (DOB certificate, qualifications, caste certificate, experience proof, etc.).
- Pay the application fee online as per category.
- Keep the signed hard copy of the application form with all documents ready for verification/interview.
Eligibility Criteria
Manager / Civil (Transport Planner / Transport Engineer)
- BE/B.Tech Civil or B.Arch (5 years) or B.Plan (4 years) + Master’s in Transport Engineering/Planning or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Urban Transport Planning, Transport Demand Modelling, Traffic Engineering, Multimodal Integration.
- Proficiency in GIS and demand modelling software (CUBE, VISUM).
Senior Manager / Mechanical (Ventilation Expert)
- BE Mechanical (M.Tech in Aerodynamics/Thermal/Fluid Mechanics preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience with at least 5 years in Tunnel Ventilation / HVAC / Industrial Ventilation.
Senior Manager / ES&T (E&M Expert)
- BE Electrical (M.Tech in Industrial Power/Automation/Control preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience with at least 5 years in E&M Design of Road/Rail/Metro Tunnels.
Assistant Manager / Civil (Bridge Engineer)
- BE Civil.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Design of Bridges.
Marks Requirement: UR/EWS – 60%, SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD – 50%.

Application Fees
- General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 600 + Taxes
- EWS/SC/ST/PwBD Candidates: Rs. 300 + Taxes
Note: Fee for SC/ST/PwBD candidates will be refunded upon participation in the exam/interview after deduction of GST/charges.
Selection Process
- Written Test: 125 questions, 2.5 hours, no negative marking. Qualifying marks: UR/EWS – 50%, SC/ST/OBC/PwBD – 45%.
- Document Scrutiny: Verification of uploaded and original documents.
- Interview: Candidates shortlisted in ratio of 1:6. Qualifying marks: UR/EWS – 60%, SC/ST/OBC/PwBD – 50%.
- Weightage: Written Test – 60%, Interview – 40% (Technical 30%, Personality/Communication 10%).
- Medical Examination: Candidates must be found medically fit as per RITES standards.
